Rich Kogelschatz, Owner, Heartland Builders.
Rich has been a custom Home Builder since 1997. Heartland Builders survived 2008 - 2010 housing crisis, adapted through the supply chain issues & inflation caused by COVID era and through these challenges, came out stronger. Heartland has two offices; one in Grand Rapids which serves as their main office, and the new second location in Holland that is their Inspiration Studio. Rich has served as President of HBA of Michigan (2014), President HBA of Greater Grand Rapids (two terms, 2009 & 2010) and past Board of Directors at Home Repair Services of Kent County, and Dwelling Place. Rich and his wonderful wife Cindy have 3 great kids, and two little grandsons. Rich and Cindy are passionate about the industry and community focused in their approach to business. Rich says he is lucky to be a builder.
